Coming from MyFitnessPal

MyFitnessPal is a large food diary. Healthier is a food diary plus workouts, sleep and a coach that can see all three. If you only want a database of packaged foods, a specialist diary can still be the better tool. If you want the rest of the day in the same place, that is the reason to move.

You can bring the diary

Healthier can import a MyFitnessPal diary, so the history does not have to be retyped. After import, new meals can be a photo, a sentence, a voice note or a barcode. You can correct portions and add ingredients the photo missed.

What is different after the meal is saved

Workouts can be logged or imported from Apple Health or Health Connect. Sleep can be synced, estimated from the phone, or typed. The Healthier Score and the coach use the meal together with that activity and that night. A calorie app that stops at the plate does not do that job.

Where MyFitnessPal can still fit better

A large food database and a diary you already trust are real reasons to stay. Healthier is the move when you want workouts, sleep, and a coach in the same place as the meal.

Questions

Can I import my MyFitnessPal history?

Yes. The import is in the Healthier app. Workouts and sleep are not part of that file. They come from Apple Health, Health Connect, or from logging them.

Is Healthier more accurate than MyFitnessPal?

Healthier has published its own 250-meal weighed study (8.4% calorie MAPE). Older published work on manual MyFitnessPal entry found large gaps, for different reasons and on different meals. That is not a paired comparison. Read the accuracy page before repeating a winner.

Do I need a watch?

No. A watch helps only if it writes workouts or sleep into Apple Health or Health Connect.

What does it cost relative to MyFitnessPal?

Healthier is a 3-day full trial, then a subscription. Standard prices are on the pricing page. Compare the plan you would actually buy, not a promotional price against a list price.
