Eat Smarter. Live Better.

Snap a meal, type it, or say it. Healthier estimates calories, protein, macros, and micronutrients — then shows them next to your training and sleep.

  • Log by photo, voice, text, or barcode.
  • Correct a portion or add a hidden ingredient before you save.
  • Protein, fibre, and micronutrients sit in the same diary as calories.
  • On 250 weighed meals, 3 in 4 estimates were within 10%.
  • The saved meal is what your coach and your day can see.

THE REST OF THE DAY

From photo to saved meal

On 250 weighed meals, 3 in 4 calorie estimates landed within 10%, and 19 in 20 within 20%. The average miss was 48 kcal on a 612 kcal meal.

Take the photo, or describe the meal by text or voice, or scan a barcode. Healthier returns items with calories, protein, carbs, fat and micronutrient estimates. You review the list, change a portion, add a missing ingredient such as oil or a sauce, then save. The saved meal is what the day, the score and the coach can see.

Portions, mixed dishes, hidden oils

A photo cannot see every gram of oil in a pan or every ingredient in a restaurant sauce. Estimates are closer when the plate is clear, the description names the hidden parts, or you type a weight or a label value. You do not need a food scale. If you have one, the number you enter replaces the guess for that item.

An estimate is not a lab result

Logged nutrients describe what Healthier thinks was on the plate. They do not measure a deficiency in your body. A low iron estimate for a week is a reason to look at the meals, not a diagnosis. Blood markers, when you have a report, live in Biomarkers.

Protein and fibre, not just calories

The same log shows protein and fibre beside calories. That matters if you are eating less on a GLP-1, trying to keep muscle, or you simply stop tracking when typing meals takes too long. Photo, voice, text and barcode are all ways into the same diary.

Read the food-logging accuracy study

Questions about nutrition.

How do I log food?

Take a photo, type the meal, say it, or scan a barcode. Healthier reads calories, macros, and micronutrients in seconds.

How accurate is food logging?

In a Healthier-authored study of 250 weighed meals, calorie estimates had 8.4% mean absolute percentage error (95% CI 7.6–9.3%). It is a benchmark, not a guarantee for every photo. Read the method and the limits on the accuracy page. You can correct any item. The log updates immediately.

Do I need a food scale?

No. Photograph, describe, or speak the meal.

How do I change calorie or macro goals?

Open Settings → Plan.

Can I log a restaurant meal or a mixed dish?

Yes. Photograph it or describe it. Name sauces, oils and drinks if you can see they are there. Then correct anything that looks wrong before you save.

Does a photo prove I am low in a vitamin?

No. The log estimates what was in the meal. It does not measure a deficiency. For a blood marker, upload a report in Biomarkers.

Can I track protein and fibre, not only calories?

Yes. Protein, fibre, carbs and fat are part of the same meal log, next to training and sleep.

What if the estimate is wrong?

Open the item, change the amount, or add what was missing. The saved meal updates immediately. Corrections are how the diary stays yours.
